In the Middle Ages, the monks at Seeon Abbey monastery produced precious book illustrations and lettering. The skills of beautiful writing are still practised on this island on the edge of the Lake Klostersee in calligraphy courses and creative workshops. Instruction is provided by Gisela zur Strassen, a freelance calligrapher who transports participants to a very special and enthralling world of painting and design.
